This Powell, OH basement had water damage beneath an exposed drainage pipe. Mid-State Basements Inspector Mitch Mink took a look and came up with a creative solution. Mitch recomended that Foreman Brent Lopez first seal the pipe to ensure it's not leaking. After that, the crew drilled weep holes beneath the pipe and used the WellDuct Window Drain to direct the water to the below ground waterproofing system already installed.
This egress window was causing moisture to get into the home and a draft to make its way though. The homeowner tried to combat this by placing towels along the window, but knew they needed a more permanent solution.
A before and after look at this basement waterproofing project in Powell, OH!
This partially finished basement had water seeping in through the walls. Worried this could lead to a bigger problem, the homeowner called Mid-State Basement Systems for a solution.
Inspector Mitch Mink recommended the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System. The WaterGuard system is installed inside the basement along the perimeter to effectively capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump.
This homeowner's sump pump wasn't doing its job anymore so they called Mid-State Basement Systems for a solution. We recommended and installed a TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe sump pump system sports three sump pumps in one sump liner with the third pump working off a battery in case of a power outage, making this an optimal solution.
