In November, Ron and Eleanor Dowler called Mid-State Basement Systems to take a look at their crawl space when they noticed their floors were squeaking and it was getting more difficult to open and close doors in their house.
When the Mid-State Basement Systems team went out to assess the space, we found the floor was close to caving in. Ron and Eleanor were disappointed they would have to cancel Thanksgiving, but we assured them, we would have it all fixed up in no time.
Mid-State Basement Systems Foreman, Brent Lopez and his crew worked tirelessly to replace the rotted and molding floor joists, installed two sump pumps, and encapsulated the crawl space with drainage matting and CleanSpace to help ensure the crawl space stays clean and dry in the future.
Eleanor and Ron were thrilled to see the house they built restored to its former glory. Eleanor said the first thing they noticed was how solid the floor felt after the joists were replaced. Eleanor and Ron are looking forward to being able to host their family next Thanksgiving and for many after that.
