After their sump pump failed during a heavy rainstorm, this homeowner called Mid-State Basement Systems for a solution. We sent out Zach Vandemark to make a recommendation.

After inspecting the basement, Zach suggested replacing the sump pump with a TripleSafe sump pump system and extending the discharge line so it’s further from the foundation of the home. The TripleSafe sump pump system sports three sump pumps in one sump liner with the third pump working off a battery in case of a power outage, making this an optimal solution.

WaterGuard Installation in Pataskala, OH

After noticing some water damage to their basement walls and floor, this homeowner called Mid-State Basement Systems for a solution. We sent out Phil Matthews to make a recommendation.

After inspecting the basement, Phil suggested the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System to help prevent any future water damage.

The WaterGuard system is installed inside the basement along the perimeter to effectively capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump.

Wall Repair in Pataskala, OH

With a large crack running the length of a wall, this basement needed serious foundation repair. A cracked and bowing wall could allow for water seepage, as well as lead to the eventual collapse of the foundation. This homeowner called Mid-State Basement Systems to repair the wall. We sent out Zach Vandemark to inspect the damage and make a recommendation.

Zach suggested repairing the crack with our tried and true crack repair techniques.

We start by sealing the crack with a high-viscosity polyurethane polymer. This gets deep in the cracks to form a durable, flexible seal. To keep your foundation walls looking great, we overlay your sealed wall crack with a polyurethane sealant. Light gray in color, it gives the repair a professional, finished appearance.

Foreman Brent Lopez and the Mid-State crew repaired the wall and installed CarbonArmor strips to support the bowing wall.
