A homeowner in Lewis Center, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because she had a patio concrete footer that was sinking. The area had a huge fireplace built on it and the sinking was making some cracks in the fireplace bricks. Our inspector went out to the home to provide a free quote for a permanent repair. He suggested using helical piers to lift the slab back to its original position and protect the fireplace from cracking further. The homeowner agreed to go with this option, so our crew went out and installed the piers. The patio is now repaired and she's happy with the results!
