This home in Bellefontaine, Oh was experiencing saggy and bouncing floors. This was concerning to the homeowner and they did not know what could be done to fix the problem. They called us at Mid-State Basement Systems and we sent out a trained inspector to look at the foundation. In the basement, our inspector noticed the old support posts were starting to fail, causing the floors above them to sag.
They then suggested the SmartJack support posts to replace them and stabilize the floors above. This system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists.
