This basement had large horizontal cracking near the middle of the wall. This is one of the first symptoms you will see in the case of a bowing wall. Cracks like these will start out small and increase over time as the soil outside continues to put pressure on the wall. Utilizing a joist reinforcement method that distributes the load evenly, eliminating the worry of further damage.
