Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Waterproofing and Encapsulation in Mc Arthur, OH

Mike M. called Mid-State Basement Systems because his father's crawl space had 4 inches of standing water in it. We sent one of our certified inspectors to Mc Arthur, OH to take a look at the situation and provide a free quote for repair. Onee of our crews, led by foreman Silvino Granados, installed a SmartSump to pump all of the water out of the home. We also encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier.

The crawl space was very wet and dirty before. There were even wires in the water which was extremely dangerous.

Here is another look at the dirty crawl space. The owners tried to cover up the floor with plastic, but that wasn't the solution.

Drainage Matting

During the installation process, we installed drainage matting to allow any excess water to flow to the sump pump instead of pooling under the vapor barrier.
