The recent heavy rains left this basement with significant water intrusion. The homeowners use their basement for storage, so it was important that this space remain dry. We installed out WaterGuard Perimeter Drain System as well as a battery backup for the sump pump system.

WaterGuard Installation

This French drain is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This keeps the drainage system out of the "mud zone", where drains can clog. WaterGuard is installed with minimal invasion of the slab, and all concrete is restored after installation

We extended the discharge lines to the street to keep water away from the home.

The UltraSump system can pump out an excess of 11,500 gallons of water on a fully charged battery-- that's enough water to fill a small swimming pool! To alert you of power failure, the UltraSump® sounds an alarm when it runs and silences when the pump cycles off.
