Photo Album: SmartJacks Stabilize Home in Hideaway Hills, OH

This home’s foundation needed extra support due to sagging floors and weakened joists. To stabilize the structure, we installed a supplemental steel beam along with eight SmartJack XT supports, designed to reinforce and lift the floors above. Part of the ceiling had to be carefully removed to allow proper beam installation, ensuring a secure fit. Now, the home has a stronger, more reliable foundation for years to come.

Installation

SmartJacks are installed by first excavating and placing a solid base, usually made of engineered fill or concrete, to ensure stable support. The adjustable steel posts are then positioned under the sagging beams, secured with heavy-duty brackets, and tightened to lift and stabilize the floor above.
