Photo Album: Helical Piers Stabilize Home in Westerville, OH

This Westerville homeowner grew concerned when they noticed small cracks forming around the exterior of their home. Recognizing that cracks could be a sign of a more serious issue, they called Mid-State Basement Systems for a professional evaluation.   Foundation repair specialist Jio V. conducted a thorough inspection and identified that one side of the foundation was sinking, causing stress on the structure. To stabilize and restore the foundation, Jio recommended the installation of six helical piers.   Helical piers are designed to provide permanent stabilization by anchoring the foundation to load-bearing soil. During installation, the piers were driven deep into the ground and secured to the home’s foundation, effectively halting further sinking and closing many of the existing cracks. The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing their home is safe and stable.
