CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
A vapor barrier works just as its name suggests: it creates a barrier against water vapor. When warm air meets a cool surface, condensation can occur. In a crawl space, this moisture can lead to mold growth, rot wood beams, and attract pests. This sits on top of our drainage matting.
CleanSpace Installed
Sealing the crawl space off from outside air prevents moisture and air quality issues. After the debris was cleared from the crawl space, our crew started installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier.
Initial Inspection
This crawl space was damp, musty and full of debris. The crawl space was open to the rest of the basement, and the homeowner wanted to make it as secure as possible.
