Our certified inspector thoroughly investigated the problem and provided a quote for a permanent repair. The homeowner decided to go with our company, so our crew installed a WaterGuard subfloor drainage around the perimeter of the crawl space. They also installed a SmartSump sump pump to pump the water out of the area and away from the home. Then, they encapsulated the crawl space with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. This is a super durable, 20-millimeter-thick plastic barrier similar to a pool liner with polyester cord reinforcement. It will keep the water, mold, and pests out of the crawl space for years to come.
