Photo Album: Structural Stabilization with SmartJacks in Laurelville, OH

The homeowner in Laurelville, OH, was concerned when she noticed that the downstairs floor of her home was sagging over the basement. She didn't want to risk having a cave-in, so she called Mid-State Basement Systems for a free inspection and estimate.   We sent out our certified inspector, Mitch Mink, who went out to this home to provide a thorough inspection and free estimate for repair. The homeowner chose to go with our company for the work, so we installed 8 SmartJack XTs. These are galvanized steel jacks that can support loads of up to 60,000 lbs. They used these to replace the existing jacks and returned the floor to its original, not sagging position.   Now the homeowner no longer needs to worry about the floors above her basement sagging—what a relief!
