Owning an older home can come with all sorts of problems, especially in the basement. This homeowner was having a hard time keeping his 100-year-old basement dry so he gave Mid-State Basement Systems a call for a possible solution. We recommended the WaterGuard interior drainage system, an UltraSump sump pump, and a SaniDry dehumidifier.  The WaterGuard system is installed inside the basement along the perimeter to effectively capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump. The UltraSump comes with a back-up battery to ensure your sump pump keeps working even if the power goes out. The SaniDry helps keep the humidity from reaching dangerous levels.
