What You Need To Know About Our Annual Maintenance Program! - Image 1

If you are a current customer of Mid-State Basement Systems, you may have received a post card, or an email regarding our new Annual Maintenance Program. Neglecting to get your pump serviced can result in water in your basement. Even with a generator, a dead pump or blocked discharge line will do you no good. Even our battery back-up pump system needs to be run tested and have the batteries checked. Our SaniDry Dehumidifiers are high performance machines and should be serviced annually to protect your investment and keep them working!

During our maintenance service, our expert technicians will:

  1. Inspect and Clean Your Sump Pump System: We understand that the components of your sump pump system can wear out or become faulty over time. Our specialists will conduct a meticulous examination and testing of the entire system to identify and address any potential issues. Additionally, we will perform a comprehensive cleaning, paying special attention to the sump pump liner to remove accumulated dirt and debris.

  2. Battery Testing and Replacement: The battery in your sump pump alarm should be replaced annually, and this task is part of our maintenance service. We also test and, if necessary, replace the backup pump battery to ensure its reliability.

  3. Dehumidifier Maintenance: Our technicians will take care of your dehumidifier as well. This includes cleaning the system, replacing the air filter, and applying necessary lubrication to its components. We also conduct a detailed inspection of all the dehumidifier parts.

  4. Discharge Line Examination: Our team will carefully inspect the discharge line to check for any obstructions or potential issues. We also assess the risk of freezing, ensuring your system operates smoothly.

  5. Crawlspace Liner Inspection: For those with a crawlspace liner, we perform a thorough inspection to verify its proper condition and integrity.

  6. Recommend Upgrades: If we identify any existing or potential issues during the maintenance visit, our specialists will provide recommendations for improvements or solutions. Addressing minor problems preemptively can prevent them from escalating into costly and disruptive issues down the line.

A reputable waterproofing company not only installs a dependable system and backup battery but also offers annual maintenance to keep your system in top-notch condition. Contact Mid-State Basement Systems today to schedule your annual maintenance and ensure the ongoing protection of your home! Note that is a paid program and will cost $179.00 for the service.
