Crawl Space Encapsulation Protects Against Ground Water Seepage

Homeowner Rachel’s crawl space was persistently damp, with groundwater seeping in and compromising the environment. Concerned about the moisture and its impact on the air quality, Rachel searched for experienced crawl space repair companies and found Mid-State Basement Systems. Our Sales Inspector visited her home for a free crawl space estimate to assess the situation.

After completing the inspection, our inspector sat down with Rachel to walk through our recommendations to resolve the moisture and water problems. We advised encapsulating the crawl space to block moisture and installing a sump pump to remove existing water.

Our team encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, installed a SmartSump Pump, and added SilverGlo Wall Insulation. The transformation allowed Rachel to use the crawl space for valuable storage, thanks to the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier.

Comprehensive Waterproofing Repair in Derby, OH

Lawrence noticed water seeping through the joint where his floor and wall meet in his basement in Derby, Ohio. When he called us at Mid-State for help, we came out and inspected Lawrence's basement. Our inspector noticed that Lawrence did not have an effective system to properly remove the water from his basement.

Annual Maintenance Finds Bowing Basement Walls in Derby, OH

While conducting an annual maintenance inspection at the Clark home, Milton noticed that the basement walls were beginning to bow slightly. Understanding the potential long-term risks, he suggested and installed wall anchors to stabilize the structure. Flooded Basement Repair in Derby, OH

Our inspector suggested the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and an UltraSump sump pump to help prevent any future water damage.
